1 - We don’t know how.
There is no playbook for solving our social and environmental problems. Often the first step seems the hardest. I work with people making a difference to both help them and share what they’re doing with others to inspire the rest of us to take that first step.
2 - We don’t feel secure.
One of my heroes said “Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” I have found that the quickest pathway from fear is to connect us with each other. If we can connect, find things in common we can work together to solve our common problems.
My Experience…
I specialise in working with Powerful People and Change Makers to solve Wicked Problems. I’m in my element in the tough stuff, with motivated people striving for enduring outcomes.
During school and university I worked as a waiter, barman and labourer. Coming from a modest migrant family, these things taught me the value of hard work, how to create honest connections with others and how to see beyond my own wants and needs.
As an adult I have worked as salesperson, a consultant, advisor, entrepreneur and company director. I have made money, lost money, found purpose and now professional fulfilment.
I have two multi-million-dollar businesses that began as ideas. I am starting up some more businesses to drive more and better change…business as a changemaker.
I volunteer on charity Boards where my start-up and business skills add a new lens and lasting value.
I am a subject matter expert and advisor to governments around system reform and new profit for purpose models.
